What NABL Accreditation Means

NABL ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is India's national laboratory accreditation. It confirms that a lab has the technical competence and quality management system required to produce accurate, reliable, and traceable test results — not by self-declaration, but through independent, periodic assessment by NABL assessors against the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard.

NABL accreditation is recognised by FSSAI, CDSCO, BIS, APEDA, EIC, and all major Indian regulatory bodies. A NABL-accredited report is accepted without re-testing for regulatory submissions, licensing applications, and export documentation — provided the test parameter and method are within the lab's accredited scope.

NABL is a signatory to the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (ILAC MRA). This means a NABL-accredited test report is accepted in 100+ countries without re-testing — valuable for Indian manufacturers and exporters supplying regulated and semi-regulated markets worldwide.

Why NABL Accreditation Matters to Your Business

Pharma Manufacturer
