Water Testing & Regulatory Compliance
Auriga Research operates NABL-accredited water testing labs across India for drinking water, packaged water, groundwater, and industrial water. Our reports are accepted by FSSAI, BIS, CPCB, and state pollution control boards for licensing, compliance, and regulatory submissions. Five lab locations in Bangalore, Delhi, Gurugram, Baddi, and Bahadurgarh for fast local turnaround.
Accreditations & Approvals

FSSAI requires packaged drinking water and packaged natural mineral water manufacturers to obtain test reports from NABL-accredited laboratories. Auriga Research's NABL accreditation covers all parameters required under FSSAI Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, including BIS IS 14543 for packaged drinking water and IS 13428 for natural mineral water.
FSSAI Licence Applications
Initial testing for new packaged water brands seeking FSSAI manufacturing licence
Periodic Surveillance Testing
Annual compliance testing to maintain FSSAI licence validity
Express: 5–7 Working Days
Standard FSSAI water reports delivered in 5–7 days; express service available
FSSAI packaged water licensing, BIS certification, and CPCB discharge consents all require accredited water test reports. Non-accredited reports are rejected, delaying licences and risking penalties for non-compliance.
Auriga Research provides NABL-accredited water testing covering 100+ parameters across physical, chemical, heavy metals, and microbiological categories. Reports are formatted for direct regulatory submission to FSSAI, BIS, and CPCB.

Auriga Research holds NABL accreditation under ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for water testing. Our scope covers chemical testing (inorganic, organic, heavy metals), physical testing, and microbiological testing across all water matrices including drinking water, packaged water, wastewater, and environmental water.
Our water test reports are accepted for FSSAI packaged drinking water licences, BIS IS 10500 compliance, CPCB consent to operate applications, state pollution control board submissions, and environmental impact assessments. Digital and hard-copy certificates of analysis are available.
A packaged drinking water startup required comprehensive IS 10500 testing across 55 parameters for their FSSAI licence application. Auriga Research completed full chemical, heavy metals (ICP-MS), and microbiological analysis within 5 working days. The NABL-accredited report was accepted by FSSAI on first submission, enabling the client to launch production 3 weeks ahead of schedule.
